What to wear for your body shape

Welcome to what to wear for your body shape

Your clothes look amazing so its important to finish off your look - so that when you leave the house you are truly fabulous -

Make up Tips -

  • Get your base right - most skins don't need foundation all over - tinted moisturiser and concealer will normally do the trick - but for those days when you need a bit of extra help my current favourite is by Clarins, but remember get the colour right it should make your skin look its very best and be invisible once on.

  • Lipstick - red is back for the winter but this time its a more plum / berry take on the shade - If bold lips scares you try a stain or tint - MAC do some great ones as do Bourjois But for true red head straight to the Chanel counter.

  • Fake tan - ladies if the legs are out get them tanned - and these days there is no excuse for getting it wrong - St Tropez in my opinion is still the best - I love the everyday version and the Ultimate Tan is fab for instant colour.

  • Fake Eyelashes - personally to faffy for me me but the individual ones do look amazing when applied - me I like a great mascara for lovely long thick lashes - try Dior Black Out.

  • Blusher - it really does warm up the complexion, looks best worked on the apples of the cheeks ( smile and then apply ) cream blushers are easy to blend with your fingers - check out Bobbi Brown lip and cheek tints

  • Even if you don't normally wear eye-shadow smooth on a neutral shade - it will make you look more polished and complete your look.

  • Hate long square nails that look like they have been dipped in tipex. Nails should be neat and slightly squared off ( squoval is the technical term ) - this season go for dark berry shades - Rouge Noir by Chanel is a true classic

  • If you dare, go for a pop of colour on your eyes - formulas these days are very sheer and pretty so you can work your colour up to the intensity you are comfortable with. Try YSL or Dior for amazing colour palettes. Purple shades look amazing with blue or brown eyes.

  • Smokey eyes - gorgeous for a night out and if you are scared of black eye colours go for a deep aubergine or pewter - easier to wear but just as dramatic - but don't forget to blend that colour well - finish the look with a slick of Vaseline over your lids and lashing of black eye liner.

  • Dab a little gold or silver shadow in the corner of your eyes - this will make your eyes "pop"
